Buckeye Beauty & Barber Insurance is an online insurance service of Stockton-Hill Insurance LLC, an independent insurance agency in Kingston, Ohio, licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance (agency license #989740). We sell individual liability policies to Ohio barbers, cosmetologists, hair designers, makeup artists and booth renters online, and quote salon and barbershop owner packages with the insurance companies we work with.

Why a separate site for beauty and barber

Because the questions are different. A cosmetologist renting a chair does not need a commercial package. They need a policy in their own name, a certificate for the salon owner, and someone who can explain what the Board expects at an inspection. We built this site to answer those questions directly and let you buy in about two minutes.

Who you are dealing with

Amanda Hill is our licensed account manager for this site. She is a licensed Ohio cosmetologist, owned a salon for 7 years, and spent 14 years as an Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board inspector covering southern Ohio. She reviews every guide on this site.

Stockton-Hill Insurance LLC also runs Lone Star Notary Bond, an online notary bond and E&O site. Stockton-Hill Insurance was founded in 2012 and is owned by Brandon Hill and Amanda Hill.

How we are paid

We are paid a commission by the insurance carrier on policies we sell. You pay the premium shown at checkout. We do not add an agency or policy fee.
